ESDHD provides essential public health services such as Building Approvals, Septic System Permits, and Food Service Permits to a population of over 70,000 residents. FREE DIABETES WORKSHOPS DAY AND EVENING WORKSHOPS,

This 7-week diabetes workshop series is for individuals with type 2 diabetes who are newly diagnosed or who may need an update on managing their diabetes. Workshop topics include meal planning, eating out, label reading, checking blood glucose and target blood glucose levels, medications, exercising safely and much more! There are opportunities for questions and comments as we share our virtual learning experience via ZOOM.

Safe-sex supplies

ESDHD is now offering condoms and other safe-sex supplies to the public. All supplies are available in our lobby located at 688 East Main St, Branford, CT from 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday- Friday. All materials are located to the right when you enter through the front door.

Covid Test-to-Treat Tele-Med Option Free for uninsured Medicare and Medicaid or VA/IHS healthcare

Need at-home COVID-19 / flu tests?
Anyone who is uninsured or enrolled in Medicaid, Medicare or VA / IHS healthcare is eligible to receive free at-home COVID/flu tests.
If you start to have symptoms, these tests can determine if you have COVID-19 or flu. If positive, you can access free telehealth care and treatment, if eligible.
