The Grandparent Raising Grandchildren Program is supported by Agency on Aging provides a support group for grandparents. The group is held every second Thursday at 7 PM. Transportation is provided for the grandparents and their grandchildren. Childcare is provided and dinner. Lisa Willis is the program coordinator. Contact: ctbctrustees@gmail.com.

Continued education and guidance after delivery in the form of a weekly support group for moms of infants up to 6 months old. Led by childbirth instructors, the group will allow new moms an opportunity to discuss challenges, successes, share stories, and to meet other moms in the area. Part of each meeting will also include a brief instructor-led discussion of relevant topics, including but not limited to: new OB or pediatric guidelines, postpartum adjustment, breastfeeding, baby wearing, Infant safety, Sleep patterns, Attachment parenting, infant development & care and guest speakers for other topics related to maternal and child health. $5 donation per meeting is suggested. No RSVP required.

Food Allergy Friends and the Parent/Caregiver Support Group is an in-person monthly support group on the shoreline. This program educates children (ages 5-12) and families about food allergies and connects them with others who share similar experiences and challenges. It is held on the Third Monday from 6pm -7pm, September through June, in Guilford at the Women & Family Life Center. It is free to participate but pre-registration is required.
